When we talk about homes, we do not mean fickle fashion moments, we mean the culture shifts that prompt fresh ways of understanding what is happening in the world.
There are no ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ when it comes to design your home. Trend is a treatment of space. A home is a space contained with in four walls; how that space is treated depends on the perception of the designer. Trend relates to our every day lives, from the colors of the things in the shop to the nature of our politics.
When it comes to characterize my personal stile, my preference is for natural materials. I don’t like manmade materials or plastic interiors. I like materials God has made for us to use.
Materials like wood, stone, marble and leather provide the anchor and roots. We all need within our homes.
I have an inclination towards white, beige and pastel colors. Our homes should blend in and adapt to our surroundings. If we live in a city where the climate is hot for most of the year, we need to use cool colors with in our homes.
Three most important things a house needs are space, space and space. Designers cannot create a setting that accommodates all of the home owner’s needs and desires with out adequate space.
